First Rocko and now Hey Arnold! (SDCC trailer)

Boy, today is a nostalgia day isn't it?


I remember reading that there was going to be another Hey Arnold movie that would finally address the fate of his parent after going to that jungle place but got cancelled cos of the poor box office rating from the first movie. I guessing they gonna make it anyway?

The trailer was like a love letter and a nice called back (glad to see Pigeon Man is happy now) as the recording were all reference to one of the episodes and aswell the mooning at the end!

The only nitpick I got is, how much timeskipped was there? I notice Rhonda phone look kinda modern? I mean yes cell phone did exist back then but if I recall, we had BIG mobile phones when it was aired?

Other than that, I can't wait to see this. Look like Samurai Jack isn't the only one that getting an resolving ending!

Everyone looks more or less the same except Gerald.

I think they made his eyes more closer together. That subtle differece changes the whole look of the character to me.

Also the charcater's teeth is more detailed you can see individual teeth.

Rocko's movie being about how he is unable to adapt to the ridiculous 21th century (and how he misses his ridiculous 90's) is an interesting idea. This Arnold movie? Err... not so sure (and I was more of an Arnold fan than a Rocko fan).

I think the part that I'm most pleased with is the fact that all the characters--at least all the ones that spoke--sound right. When I heard that they were making a movie after all this time, I was worried that the cast wouldn't be able to capture the original voices, but they nailed it.
Guess I'll need to sit down and watch the rest of my DVD collection before this comes out.

Glad I wasn't the only one to be drawn to Gerald for some reason. He did look different...I dunno if it's his eyes, or his height or something, but he certainly feels "off."

That being said, hurray. I loved Arnold back in the day, and in the years since, I've grown to love the Helga character too, so I just have to see where that's going to go, cause it fucking better go somewhere after all these years.

That being said, hurray. I loved Arnold back in the day, and in the years since, I've grown to love the Helga character too, so I just have to see where that's going to go, cause it fucking better go somewhere after all these years.

They changed the shape of his head and his hair is shorter, angled, and fluffier.

I never liked this show. The characters did not look good, the voice acting was not pleasant to listen to, the plots were not interesting. I would prefer an Angry Beavers reboot over this.

I dunno... I liked both of them back in the day, and while Rocko makes sense on some level, Arnold doesn't really have a concept that benefits from a reboot the way that Rocko does.

Amen to that. Damn Nick being pussies. ...Truthfully the pitch was a bit edgy. But it was an intention for it to air later in the evenings.

They were going to, but Viacom wanted "Arnold Saves the Neighborhood" so that's what we got. But this script has been sitting around for almost a decade and a half and is only getting made now because pandering to 90's kids is now an industry. Just be glad we're getting one of the good 90's things and not something terrible like, say, Bubsy.
