Outside of 10th prestige glitching, the major hacks and glitches have been suppressed (until more are found) thanks to the new patch that finally fixed that pesky care package glitch as well as the Model 1887's and others.

Since then, though, I've noticed a major turn in playing types. Because the unskilled players cannot glitch their way to kills they have flocked to exploiting class load outs. The most noticeable to me is the running class (Marathon, Lightweight, Commando with a Tac knife). Other terrible ones are the One Man Army, Danger Close with Noob Tubes and Grenade Launchers. Thermal Scopes kind of suck too, but those can be avoided with cold blooded and just avoiding going out in the open.

I am a big fan of playing ground war, as well as many of the objective game types, but it is getting to be completely unbearable to even finish a map when you cannot walk 20 feet without being hit by a rouge noob tube or getting knifed in the back. These are clearly over exploited "strategies" and something needs to be done.

My first idea for the One Man Army group is for one, to possibly eliminate the option to reload the class you started with or you cannot refill your ammo on explosives (in case people just make identical classes). The original idea of O.M.A. was to allow for someone to switch from one class to another, not reload your ammo constantly.

For the runners, maybe make them more susceptible to damage (bullets, explosions alike) or make their footsteps louder.

Those are just some off the top of my head ideas, but I am sure there is something that can be done to prevent the destruction of a great multiplayer. Thoughts?

If they added people taking damage while lunging in commando, I'd stop complaining.
The only thing that pisses me off is the fucking invincibility.

They need to nerf commando so that they don't teleport to you while becoming invincible, so that you can counter stab them.

I havent played any of it but there really isnt anyway to fix it. Its been too long since the release there isnt any realy way to fix it unless they sit down and rebalance everything. There are already so many people set in their ways that this would piss off a good majority of everyone. It cant be fixed and it wont. They will work on fixing exploits and glitches and minor problems but overall there will always be exploits and cheap ways to play. Its a matter of being able to beat these cheap play styles or find a game that no one uses it.

Like I said I havent played MW2 multiplayer at all except with a few friends who were harvesting points off of eachother for free upgrades. So I have no idea what I am talking about but thats usually how these things go. There really is no way to fix it and you are most likely just going to have to live with what problems you have. That or they piss off a bunch of people and have them leave their game.

One Man Army shouldn't allow you to change to a class that uses One Man Army; that would make it fine. It would make it the class it was meant to be "Start here, observe the situation likely with a heartbeat sensor, switch." or "better get my launcher out for that chopper" "or, cool I got air support. Switch to may danger close pro class to make it do more damage". Would it still give you more grenades and Noob tubes? Yes. Not as many as scavenger would potentially, and not nearly as fast.

Increase helicopter gunner and AC-130 to 13 kill killstreaks from 11.
Harrier/either of the above/Tactical Nuke isn't uncommon. Neither is Predator Missle/Harrier/Either of Those. It's not necessarily an unbalancing part of the game, but player controlled killstreaks are really powerful and I'm of the opinion they should be a little harder to get. I'm just grateful they can be killed by predator missiles. I stock up on those, just in case.

I'm going to go use Hardline on my UMP .45 class now. I'm not sure if that'll help more than cold blooded or even lightweight, but hey, I like UAVs and counter UAVs and even predator missiles.

Ninja defeats the purpose of your one suggestion. As for more susceptible to damage, how would that be included in as a "perk" when it's not a perk at all.

First of all using a certain set up isn't exploiting... it is using a set of perks that work well together. Exploiting is using something like the carepackage glitch or using a modded lobby to get 10th prestige, choosing from a set of perks or using X gun combo isn't an exploit.
I do somewhat agree about the one man army thing, I personally don't think they should let you pick the same class with one man army over and over, I think it should force you to switch to a different class. If people want to consume two slots with a one man army/ tube I really don't care but only consuming a single slot is bs.
In terms of a knifer, really why are you complaining about that, how about complaining how ridiculously powerful the assault rifles in the game are compared to everything else. Most of them have no recoil what so ever, hell people can outsnipe a person using a sniper rifle with an assault rifle. Don't you think that is something to complain about instead of a guy running around using a knife?
Oh and FYI the command "Teleport" which is just lag (watch a kill cam it's an actual dash) and they are not invincible. If you've ever played it you'd know that 9 times out of 10 people who get a kill like that against a player that shoots at the knife they will come out with a full red screen being a tap away from death, hell I've thrown nades into their backs to kill them. Also it is possible to stab a person using command you just have to time it right, and most people have realized this, hell I started using a pistol as soon as I see a guy actually moving towards me instead of away because I know they are going to counter.

I honestly cannot get over the fact that you call knifing/ tubing exploits. I mean common cry more? Is sitting in a corner with an assault rifle the only acceptable strategy to whiners nowadays?

Essentially my point is there's a exploiting glitches in the game and then there's exploiting game balance. The latter isn't as severe as the first one, but it's still exploiting and it is something people should take note of. If it's not broke don't fix it, but if it's a well founded argument, like the 1887's --and they were well founded complaints, not all of them OTOH were the best written one -- then please do.

Painkiller is something I forgot in my original post. It seems to me that the only other used deathstreak, outside MLG, is Final Stand.

Rebalance the perk system.

Switch Marathon with SitRep, so that people have to choose between unlimited sprint and longer melee.
