Any one else think the music of fallout new vegas was waaay more boring and repetitive than that of fallout 3?

FO3 had more upbeat and fun songs like Cole Porter, and even those groovy instrumentals in between the songs with vocals.
I stopped listening to the radio completely after getting to level 1.

Also, every so often i would turn the radio on to see if the news monster was reporting my doings, and honestly i could have just killed the head of the Legion or something, and he was STILL talking about the shitty little backwater town i saved from destruction 10 levels ago.

I lost count of the times i heard Sheriff Meyers' "Be good, or ill shoot you dead" speech.

I listen to the radio sometimes. Despite there is a 55 track playlist or something, it does seem that the same five or so get repeated....

I downloaded the Conelrad Radio mod but it doesn't seem to work...

I swear people used to hate ThreeDog, how opinions change! Haha. I never have the radio on, it's pants, I always like ThreeDog and his radio station especially witht he mod adding an extra 100 tracks...but Radio NV seems dull and really, really repetitive.

Ah man, I totally forgot about that. For some reason I only heard it like once or twice in FO3, I played it for a good 90 hours too.

I like the radio in New Vegas, it has some good songs on it and I like to hear of my actions being noted, however long ago they were. It gets annoying when my radio and someone else's clash and then I can't hear the characters talk so I usually have it off now.

After a few minutes of Radio New Vegas, I hit up the Nexus and got myself a radio mod. So I now traverse the Wasteland listening to "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" and "Highway to Hell".

Maybe it doesn't match the game's atmosphere, but it sure is better than what they put in.

Three dog made that radio.

Also, the music itself wa sjust better. The stuff in Vegas is a bit too country I think.

When you're singing the songs from Fallout 3's radio without realising it, it may be time to PLAY MORE.

There's only about 8 songs on NV, and about 12 preloaded speeches on the player's actions. It's crap.

I heard there is a glitch with one of the stations that there is supposed to be more music but it glitches and gets hung on like a 3 song playlist. Don't know if it is true, just what i heard. But yeah the songs are not too inspiring or even that atmospheric. That "I don't want to set the world on fire" song from 3 just fit so well in the atmosphere/setting.

All the radio stations had the same music, so you couldn't switch channels for a break.

All here who are hating the radio aren't listening to Best Friend Tabitha.
But she has about 3 bumpers, they are frikin hilarious though. Sounds like her co-host is the crypt keeper. All I hear is static on BMR now. I guess she ran off with that robot and didn't come back.

I have to say I like Wayne Newton way more than Three Dog, I just wish he had some more songs to play for me and shuffled them up a bit better. I love the rat pack tunes but I hardly hear them. I just hear Big Irony and Johnny Retard over and over. One more time, I'm going to go Mysterious Stranger on the game disc.

This game's got glitches by the number,
bugs by the score,
each day I try to get somewhere
and each day it crashes more
This game's got gliches by the number,
It's a game I can't win,
'cause the quests I do stop counting
and the game picks when to end.

Was just a myth. People found 48 songs in the radio folder of new vegas and assumed they were missing from the game. In actual fact, the "radio" folder consists of all music (non ambient) in new vegas, such as the backing tracks to the performers in one of the casinos.
