You know how there are silly themed restaurants all over the place, large and small, that serve bad-for-you American chow in a building themed to look like a 50s diner, an Australian...whatever the Outback Steakhouse is trying to be, or whatever? I think it'd be interesting if they built a building that looked like a giant arcade cabinet, had video game posters and such all over the walls, and had a silly name like "Steakcade" or something.
The challenge would be coming up with the silly themed names for the dishes on the menu. I've got a couple ideas, the community can fill in the rest:
(first, the easy ones)
Pac-Man Pizza. Comes with a slice missing from it, of course, although the slice would be served on a separate plate so people didn't think "what a gyp, they're selling us only part of a pizza!"
Space Invaders. Chicken nuggets shaped like the aliens from the game. Always bite where they're going to be, not where they are!
Beer Tappers: Before it got bowdlerized to "Root Beer Tapper", this bar-game favorite comes to life as beer-battered chicken tenders. Don't drop them!
(and now, a bit more obscure)
Spaghetti and Meet Ba'als: For the Diablo 2 players.
Dracula's Ribs: For everyone who remembers Castlevania 2 on the NES. What a horrible night to have a curse.
OK, go!
