So, Escapists, i just devoured a shrimp egg roll and a spring roll. Now I am full. So, this makes me wonder . . . how much does it take to fill YOU up?

A rather large amount. I can drink like a gallon of strawberry milk, eat a steak, a salad and a baked potato, and still not feel full.

It takes varying amounts for me

One night might be 3-5 large bowls of Pasta, next night it might be a single porkchop.

A few summers back I could easily eat a salad, plate sized T-Bone steak, a baked potato and corn on the cob, now I can only eat say half to most a T-bone alone before I feel stuffed.

A lot unless I'm feeling sick. My theory is that I store the food that I eat in my digestive system until I get sick and then it all finally clicks with my brain that I'm full. Of course, this brings up the problem that with that logic, I'm thinking my clearest when I'm sick, so...

I usually pad my meals with a massive quantity of rice. because i can eat a small cow in one sitting. the rice is the only thing that keeps me under 200 pounds.

Dunno, i can eat litterally nothing, and still not feel hungry, but i can down several punds of food and still want more cause it's tasty.

When i'm out eating at a "all you can eat" place, i'm not stopping unless my stomach starts hurting, or people are whining about me being embarrasing cause i can eat as much as two overweigth people and still remain slim.

I'm always hungry. Even when I'm sick.

In fact, I'm using food to cure my cold right now. Proper nutrition is invaluable.

Depends. I was on a bus trip, i had a light breakfast, some food. After that digested, i went to Arby's and had a Chedder Roast Beef medium combo with a jamocha shake. I couldn't finish my drinks, which was Mountain Dew and the shake. Plus i was on a coach where it bobbled all over the place where i almost threw up. I didn't, but pacted myself not to finish the drinks.

the size of the person doesn't mean they eat a lot it has more to do with metabolism and size of an actual person's stomach than of their body fat.

this is a bad stereotype to perpetuate, I've plenty of friends of friends who are smaller than me who can eat more and even more who could eb considered "overweight" that eat less.

I generally eat quite a bit because I don't eat until meal times. I don't like making myself food if I don't have to so I wait until my mother makes dinner, mostly because she is a fantastic cook and I would rather eat her cooking than chips or something.

I'm fully aware of that, but a lot of people doesn't seem to be. They don't make a problem out of it if a big guy goes for his 5'th serving but when I do it, i'm apaprently beeing embarasing and disgusting. I don't think people are disgusting for eating a lot of food, whether they're big or small.
This wasn't even the point of my post, i guess i should've writen it out without a chance of misunderstanding. What i meant was basicly: If i'm at an all you can eat place, i will eat till my stomach starts hurtig (which takes a lot of food) or untill the people i'm with nags me enough to stop, for whatever reason they've got.

It takes unlimited amounts of food to fill me up, because my digestive track runs on overdrive.

Sure, I may get "full" after a few plates, but in thirty minutes I'm hungry again.

Honestly depends. My hunger is incredibly scizophrenic. maybe an effect of my high metabolism, but i can ravenously hungry but only be able to eat half of whats on my plate.

Unfortunately, I can outeat men at buffets. But I'm only "hungry" once a day, around either lunch or dinner, & the other two meals are very light, like 2 pieces of fruitm or coffee & cereal.

If you're talking sushi, then I'll need 4 pieces of teriyaki eel, 2 yellowtail tuna, 2 mackeral, 2 giant shrimp, 2 octopus, 2 salmon, & 2 squid.

Hells yeah!
I can eat unlimited BBQ Pork Buns, but stuff I don't like fills me up quick. Seriously, both keep me going till next morning.
