I'm new to this whole starting a thread thing (well, as you can probably see, the whole posting in general thing) so please forgive me if I break several common sense rules of etiquette.
Anyway, I'm a fair fan of Meshuggah, in that they are my favourite band (well, they tie with Nine Inch Nails. For me, anyway).
Anyway, I'm looking to expand my music collection, so my question becomes: what would you recommend? I'm working off the assumption that if the respondees to this thread are also Meshuggah fans, they may have a similar framework for determining their enjoyment of a song.
So, much as in my subject line, is there anything that you enjoy listening to as much as Meshuggah?
I'd be especially interested to hear any recommendations from people who are in the (I deem) unlikely category of also liking both Nine Inch Nails and Meshuggah.
