Foreign countries you'd gladly fight to the death for.

I'm interested to see peoples foreign relations. If you feel a country that isn't your own has earned a special place in your heart to influence you to die fighting for them.

Just post the name of the countries, and a reason if you want.

I wouldn't die for my own country, let alone others. Actually, bad example. I do have more respect for some other countries over nanny Australia. My point still stands. I'm not dying for any country.

Forgive me if Im getting hung up on semantics here but I don't think any country is worth fighting for. As for people on the other hand I'd tend towards fighting for those how happen to be both in need of help and relatively close to where I am.

I'd gladly fight with my life for my brothers in the UK and Ireland. I have many friends in both and I wouldn't dare let them fight on their own.

Well, I put my life on the line a few times "for my country"... but don't get me wrong, that was out of desperation, for a steady paycheck I couldn't seem to find elsewhere at the time. I don't feel particularly attached to the government or people of 'mericuh. I'm the least patriotic veteran I know.

So really, I wouldn't fight and die for any country if I could help it... but I'll kill for money.

I love Ireland, I can actually still remember when my Dad came home and said. That's it, we're leaving, get your shit packed.

As some others have said themselves however, I guess I'd also be more about ideals or human rights/life, as opposed to nations themselves.

Though, anyone who sticks it to the USA/UK/Israel gets respect.

I don't think I'd fight to the death for any country in general. If said country is fighting for ideals I believe in, however, then I would.
