Former police officer Adam Coy was found guilty of murder on Monday by a jury in the 2020 fatal shooting of Andre Hill, a 47-year-old unarmed Black man who was shot four times after the defendant ordered him to emerge from a darkened garage while holding a cellphone and a large set of keys.

The jury in the high-profile Franklin County Court of Common Pleas case announced its verdict after deliberating for about two-and-a-half days.

Justice nutritional justice!

As an aside, recently learnt the very first iteration of the very first police force in America - the KKK - had some real freaky costumes worthy of horror movie designs before they started settling on the one we know now. Just look at this cursed shit;

Glad to hear his ass is going to prison.
Not surprised. Not like the victim was armed, or was trying to attack him or anything. Courts take their time, but the verdict surprises me not at all. It's not like he had a terribly good defense beyond the hope that he could convince a juror to have a reasonable doubt that he can't tell the difference between keys and a silver revolver pointed at him.

It still shouldn't have taken four years when it's that obvious. What's done is done, but when it comes to cases like these, they should take no more than a year and a half at best.
