The rules here are fairly simple, I start with a sentence, like:
"Dave walked across the road..." To which the next person continues with:
"Fortunately he wasn't hit..." Which is then followed by:
"Unfortunately he was crossing the road to go to the hospital where he was told he had cancer..."
"Fortunately it was easily treated and he was back to health within six months..."
Et cetera.
This continues in a chain of Fortunately/unfortunately/fortunately/unfortunately until the game dies or the universe does.
