Hello, people of the internet!

I have a question about the rules about advertisement. Does making a thread where you embed videos or links to your gaming videos (Let's Plays, specifically) count as "advertising your Youtube channel"?

More specifically: I'm currently doing a video Let's Play of Achron on my Youtube channel and wanted to post a thread about my Let's Play in the gaming subforum, but I'm not sure if that would be allowed or not since it technically advertises my Youtube channel.

What kind of discussion value does it provide? Merely linking your video and asking for opinions is a waste of space and advertising.

Well, many people have never heard of Achron before, so I guess that it provides discussion value, but a simple thread about the game itself would do the same.
I'm just asking because there are tons of other forums that allow this kind of stuff. Just wanted to make sure.

Thanks for the answer, I really appreciate it!

I think that there is a section called "user reviews" for this sort of thing. I'm not certain, but I have seen a lot of let's plays floating around.

Yeah, you can use it for reviews if you post it in the reviews section. Just not in the main gaming section.

Well, a Let's Play is not a review. There are some LPers who mix the two, but, well, I don't. I'll just post it nowhere, I don't really wanna get any warnings.
