Anyway, haven't played this, but seen it described as a mix of RTS and 4X. Haven't played anything from either, so I'll give this a shot.

I already have this one, or I'd be glad to redeem the offer. Shame it isn't one of the others in the series! These devs are very well regarded in the genre and 4X games are very popular indeed.

Yeah it's pretty unique, interesting mix of 4x and RTS (more on the RTS side than 4x). I recommend playing on random map as those are more interesting.

Yes. It's a go to game for my friends when we want to play a longish multiplayer strategy game, but we don't have time for a Stellaris session.
