Slime Rancher will be free on the Epic Game Store until March 21th. You can get the game through the link above, or straight from the Epic Games launcher. Either way, the game will be added directly to your Epic Games library.

I rather like this giveaway. It's one of those games I was sort of interested in, but held off on until a nice sale came along. Sadly, I'm an 'out of sight, out of mind' type of ape, so I kind of forgot about. Hey, can't complain, or argue with free. Also, good 'ol Jim Sterling likes it, for whatever that's worth.

Same. Just their giveaways plus UT4, which is also free. It's pretty much the only value the Epic Store has in my opinion.

"Slime Rancher is a life simulation video game developed and published by American indie studio Monomi Park. The game is played in an open world and from a first-person perspective. The player controls a character named Beatrix LeBeau, a rancher who moves to a planet far from Earth called the Far Far Range to live the life of a "slime rancher", which consists of constructing her ranch and exploring the environment, in order to collect, raise, feed and breed slimes, gelatinous living organisms of various sizes and characteristics."

Its a fun game, huge focus on being cute, but there are wide ranges of map to explore and a significant amount of stuff to find.

Didn't keep my interest forever, but even at 10 bucks its decent value.

And here is where I break. I either owned or didn't care about the other free titles, but I've never heard a single, negative thing about Slime Rancher. Count me in!
