Seems they're doing some kind of French games sale. Benoît Sokal wasn't French tho. But Microids was, so, whatever. Today, for you:

Syberia I & II

Syberia I & II will be free on GOG until July 17th. To nab it, simply go to gog.com (link provided above), scroll to down a little for the giveaway banner, and click that big green button to claim it. It should show up in your library almost immediately. I believe you also need to be subscribed to GOG's newsletter.
Syberia I & II is a pack of two award-winning classic adventure games that combine elaborate puzzles with a breathtaking story and poetic atmosphere. Created by comic book artist Benoît Sokal at the beginning of XXI century, they remain milestones in the point‘n’click genre to this day
Have a look if interested, and enjoy.

They're old school PC adventure games but I really got a kick out of these two. They both have a dreamlike atmosphere that reminds me of terry gilliam films, though they don't break any boundaries of PC adventure game puzzles/interface.

I've played the first one. I liked the atmosphere and mood of it.

The ending however felt like it said "Oh shoot, we've ran out of money, here, this is the best ending we can muster with what we've got left."

Fun fact: Apparently the game was split into two(Syberia I and II) due to executive meddling so you have to play both games to see what the whole thing was presumably meant to be.

Apparently it's best to steer clear of the third game though. I was interested but pretty much all the reviews(that includes user reviews) are very negative.
