I've played UO exclusively on Freeshards for ~ 10 years now.. after 7 of them, I switched Shards, since my 1st one died more or less.
The Community is shrinking since many years now, people switched to games like WOW, became to old or bored with the game.
Nevertheless I somehow kept a deep fascination for Freeshard UO. The possibilities you have there (create your very own fantasy universe - well your very own game actually, once you're familiar with the rules of scripting) are still unique.
The grafics could be better, god knows, but I've never been one of those grafic junkies, as long as the game rocks.
Did you play/do you play? Maybe even own your own Shard?
