Frustrating matches in CoD

Ever have those odd matches in Cod 4 or World at War were it just seems like nothing goes right? You aren't necessarily playing that bad its just that you get extremely unlucky. This could mean you are running and a guy lobs a grenade half way across the map and you blow up. You then re spawn and there is a guy waiting to kill you right when you spawn. You are just finishing reloading as you go around the corner but there is a shotgun waiting for you.

Sometimes this happens to me every now and then. I feel like I am not doing that bad in a match its just I'm extremely unlucky sometimes.

Mainly getting hit by cooked grenades.

Also, people who have juggernaut and then run around the map with an SMG or Shotgun.

Every match. Ofcourse, Im used to CoD2 where I am one shotting everyone with my Kar bolt action rifle. But in WaW, I an NOT one shotting everyone with my crappy japanese bolt action rifle cause Im not level 41 (level to unlock Kar rifle) and everyone has lame perks that ruin the fun.

I "really like" the fact that some people have those fucking stupid MOD-controllers that let them reload 2x faster than I can and then when the match ends they start saying things like, "Oh yeah boyee, I'm the baddest badass at this game" or "You suck at this game, why don't you go back to playing animal crossing."
But yeah, the times I'm unlucky is when someone throws a grenade from the other side of the map and it lands at your feet or I spawn in the middle of an airstrike or artillery strike and die immediatly after re-spawning or I spawn literally in front of someone and they get a free kill. They need to include spawn protection for like a second-and-a-half so that spawn campers can't get any cheap kills.

[edit] we all have those off days, wether it be bad luck or just bad timing(meaning we just suck) but the days where we feel like we can take on a pro gamer and win are the days we live for!

I fucking hate them. Play the game you've bought! If you want to sit in a corner for 10 minutes just do it at home, the graphics are better.

Oh, and don't go telling me you're "fortifying you position" or that it's "tactics". Soldiers have a name for that, and that name is work. You don't play a game to work.

It's really annoying watching the killcam of a grenade that bounces off two walls, a lamppost and another player to land at my feet.
Also Martyrdom grenades roll towards me.

I'm also a sucker for those people that spray an LMG through a wall at nothing in particular. There I'll be, minding my own business when I'm suddenly ripped to shreds by someone's stray bullets. I hate that little "hit" crosshair that pops up.

My most annoying thing about COD4 is that sometimes I will go to stab someone who is unaware of my position, just to have them move out of the way at the last minute, or stab them and then for it to have absolutely no effect, it drives me INSANE! Before anyone suggests I have a bad internet connection, I can accept this argument every know and then, but it happens when I'm on a green connection and it happens I smell something fishy.

Campers who sit with a sniper at far ends of the map do my head in.

Lets see, Laging, Glitchers, Stand-byers uhm...those like 8 year olds who cant seem to even be quiet though other than that im good.
Well...there is the fact that my team ALWAYS lets one guy with jammer sit at our spawn and he ends up with 40 kills and like 6 deaths. Which you cant do anything cause you face the other direction when you spawn

I mostly play HC SnD, so 'nade spam only happens at the start of a match. Either hang back or run to the safe places, problem solved, most of the time anyway.

I've had some games where no matter what I do I'll get shot really early in a round. I know irritating games, and spending alot of time waiting to spawn.

Was worse in CoD2, nowadays I can surf the internet and these forums ingame via xFire browser or Steams browser when I'm being a noob and waiting to spawn.

I'm not a horrible player at CoD 4, at 24% accuracy and 0.58 K/D ratio I'd say I'm pretty average. In a regular match for me I score anywhere from 10-20 kills and get a couple airstrikes and maybe a chopper if I'm lucky. The problem from me comes from spawn campers. When I run into one I spend my next 3 or 4 lives dying a couple steps out from my spawn. When I finally do kill them, I sit there teabagging them until my next death, because I despise spawn camping that much.

EDIT: Just a vain attempt to keep people from getting on my case about my stats, CoD4 is the first FPS where I've taken the multiplayer seriously, I started out *extremely* horrible, and *extremely* late to the game (WaW was already out for several months). If I were to create a new LIVE account I could improve my stats (particularly my accuracy, I was a spray and pray-er back at the start), but I don't care enough about my stats to bother, and I don't have the money to do so if I did.
