FUMcon is Coming

April 10th through the 12th, Four Ugly Monsters hosts the most exciting weekend in Virtual Gaming. Try the Virtual Tabletop (VT) you always wanted to play. Participate in VT demos. Join your fellow virtual gamers for one-shot adventures. Perhaps even find a few new friends.

For those new to FUM and FUMcon...

FUMcon is an online convention where we try to get as many developers of VT's and online games to come by and share with the community their progress and ideas.

Where gamers and DM's can hook up for single shot games to show off various VT's and all there ideas and skills.

There will be live chats, games, demos, and hopefully an interview or two.

Everyone is welcome, from the new players to the experienced DM's.

FUMcon is free for everyone, developer and gamer.

I don't feel like a spambot. However, I did just find The Escapist site through an article referred to me.

FUMcon [http://www.fouruglymonsters.com/community/fumcon] is a convention for gaming, like Origins or Gencon but only for role-playing. There are now software packages available that allow groups of gamers whose members are spread out over the globe to role-play. FUMcon is designed specifically as an introduction to role-playing online like you might have in a face to face game with pen & paper. Many of the major vendors have shelled out cash so attendees don't have to. Just show up, pick the games and virtual tabletop you'd like to try out.
