Today, on my iPod I got Game Dev Story and instantly I have become addicted. The game is simple, you hire new employers or upgrade them and you make games which various things can happen during there processes.
Just a short story of when I was playing.
For a while, after my 5 million and 4 million game hits, I keep releasing mediorce game one after another, so I decided to release a sequel to my 4 million hit, Trinity Shot, a Robot Shooter and I got a similar mediocre results. But then I tried again and instantly got a hit with #5, and then #6 both with 5.6 million sold.
Then I make #7 and instantly got high review scores and then sold 11.4 million.
There was a lot of tension despite the simple structure of the game and the somewhat casual feel. It was really exciting.
So what little fun titles have you been enjoying lately?
Edit: By little games I mean something off of PSN, Steam, appstore, or XBL that aren't full retail games. Indie games, and such.
