I nominate Arenanet for yesterday's shenanigans in Guild Wars 2. They turned everyone into make-believe airplanes, complete with noises from the your character and music from the 1920's when you died.

I don't play anymore, but Blizzard's patch notes for World of Warcraft were pretty hysterical, especially if you get the pop-culture references and in-game jokes.

Hah, those were great.

-Serenity now causes the caster to don a brown coat and get really sad about Wash.

I think one of my favorites from yesterday was Paradox putting Chirpy from Skylines into the rest of their games. Nothing like a pseudo Twitter in Europa Universalis.
