I thought "The marine" was hilarious. we hired it thinking it might be good. but it was so shit it was funny. At least 5 "slow-mo dive away from explosion" scenes in the movie.
Crap story + retardedly over the top special effects = mega fail lol.

Team America: World Police. Though it may not be the funniest I've seen, I can't remember laughing harder at any other movie.

I'm Gonna Git You Sucka, though if you don't catch the references to 70's blacksploitation movies of the past, it's somewhat less funny.

Honorable mentions go to Superbad, Loaded Weapon 1, and Robinhood: Men in Tights

I hated Superbad, it was too angry for my tastes. I really loved Shaun of the Dead because it reminded me of my old room-mates who would spend whole weeks smoking pot and playing Crash Bandicoot 3, while I went out and did something with my life.

Good Morning Vietnam. That movie still makes me laugh and I've lost count of how many times I've seen it. It's also pretty moving at the end.

I'd have to go with the oldies on this one.

Anything by Mel Brooks, especially Spaceballs.
Anything by Abrams, Zucker & Zucker; Airplane, Police Squad or Hot Shots anyone?

These new "comedies" will not even make me smile, movies like Meet the Spartans and rubbish like that. I can't even see why anyone should laugh at movies like that.

Lol, come on... was spaceballs really that good? It had it's moments but wasn't all that great.
lol - Their watching spaceballs on vhs to skip forward and find where the princess is hiding. That was good. plus the corny theme song at the end.

Dumb and Dumber. It wouldn't be so fashionable to hate it if it wasn't so much comedic greatness. I don't know if it's the funniest movie ever, but it's damn sure worth a mention.

Yes, it was just that great. Lots of space movie parodies, and don't tell me you didn't laugh at the alien scene at the end. I watched it last time just a month ago, and I laugh every single time.
Only thing that could be better, is the 80's look that it has, but it's a small thing.
