Maybe I've been getting cynical lately, but I've noticed that it's increasingly rare that a so-called "comedy" movie genuinely and frequently makes me laugh. However, there are exceptions to this, so I would like you guys to share the movies that you believe are the funniest ever. (P.S. Remember, "funniest" is the key word. It doesn't have to be "good" by any normal definition to still be funny. It can be funny in a MST3K way)

Some examples:

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
The Jackass movies
21 Jump Street
Twilight (unintentional, but still funny, especially if you watch it in a movie theater)
Pulp Fiction

Intentionally funny would be something like Monty Python (any of them; they're all gold) or Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
EDIT: Ooh ooh, Tenacious D and The Pick Of Destiny is pretty funny too.

Visioneers, apart from just being one of the best movies you've probably never heard of, has some downright hilarious moments. Now don't misunderstand, it is a dark comedy, and it takes the "dark" part of its dark comedy really seriously. So it's not a feel good romp for the whole family. That said, Zach Galafinakis playing strait man to a vision of corporate America so dark it's practically bathing in parody just worked really well for it. So not only is it one of the most thoughtful movies I've ever seen, it's one of the funniest as well. When it wants to be that is.

To be honest the only film I was recently very pleasantly surprised with was Pineapple express. I laughed my ass off :p. I won't bother mentioning the classics because everyone knows them

Super Troopers.

Every time I watch that movie I am left in stitches. I could probably quote the whole movie from start to finish due to the fact that I have seen it more times than I care to count.

Blazing Saddles
Robin Hood: Men in Tights
Space Balls
History of the World: Part 1

Pretty much any movie by Mel Brooks will have you laughing the whole time.

I love funny kung-fu movies: Shaolin Soccer, Kung-Pow Enter the Fist and Kung-Fu Hustle are my favourites.

I'm gonna have to go with Borat. I have never laughed that much throughout a movie. I was laughing so hard that I was crying through a lot of it. My stomach muscles actually hurt after watching that movie because of how much I had been laughing.

Tucker & Dale Vs Evil. It's quite simply the funniest movie i've seen in the last decade or so.
