Well i just saw the last futurama movie, possibily the last Futurama ever (though unlikely) and i must say i was quite dispiontted, but reveiws all over the net are singing its prising saying its the best of the four. I found the first one, Benders Big score, to be the best. This latest one, Into the Wild Green Yonder, just feels forced. Fry and Leela have no emotion between them them all of a sudden theiir all over each other at the end.
What did you think, fitting ending to a great series (Hopefully not) or dispopionting to say the least?

And i know my spelling and grammer sucks

As long as Groening is able to jump the Simpsons ship and focus full-time on Futurama, it'll keep going, and it'll be awesome once more.

Professor Farnsworth told me so. He told me so

Same here, but so far theyve done a terrible job of making the films follow on from each other. I see the films being declared non-cannon quite easily, and wouldnt mind.

I haven't got a chance to see it yet, but I loved the first 3. The Beast with a Billion Backs especially was genius.

Seen all 4 now. 4 is the best, IMO, the last one coming second.
I thought the first one was the best, and i suppose the second one second best. I didnt like the third one at all.

I saw the 4th one last night and thought it was excellent.

The only one that I felt was a little sketchy was the 2nd, The Beast With A Billion Backs. It was funny and everything, but I felt that it didn't feel as much like a film with chapters and more just like 4 episodes of the show that was being played like some marathon feature on TV.

I like Bender's Big Score the most. This is probably because they had loads more time to make this one and because I love the head-fuck style episodes that the Futurama team put together. "The Sting" and "Time Keeps On Slipping" being 2 great examples.

I'd be happy with them doing more films like this, as long a Groening and co. devoted enough time to them to make them to a decent standard. Saves the pressure of making episodes week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week after week.

That's me done. Check 'em out if you haven't seen them, they're worth a try at least. And remember........

AVOID THE SCARY DOOR!

This is why I liked it the best. Theres no denieing that Futurama was better back in the day, but not because the movies are any less funny (which they're not). Futurama is show made for episodic form. Thats how I've watched the movies so far. In 2, maybe 3 sittings. Way to get the best out of it, as the jokes don't get stale.

The third one had maybe two good jokes and the rest of it was a fantastic meh. The first one was the funniest, but the second one was surprisingly entertaining as a regular movie. How did you see the last one? It hasn't come out yet in America anyway.
wellllll... i had some friends round for the night and we decided to watch it while we could since we were back at schoool 2 days later .... its all over the internet

Haven't seen the fourth one. But like others, I thought the first movie was good, the other two were so-so.

It did seem a tad forced; I never understood why they dropped the idea of Fry & Leela after "Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings"

Bender's Game seemed to me like the one without a connective plot. Not that it didn't garner a few chuckles. Big Score led into Billion Backs, but the only thing going from Bender's Game to Green Yonder was the fact that they now used whale oil instead of Nibbler steamers.

Top work with the spoiler there. The way you slipped it in shows the kind of talent that money just can't buy.

I think they're all pretty similar in quality. None of them are exceptional, but they're all pretty good. I think of the 4 of them i'd rank them as:

1. Bender's Game
2. Into the wild green yonder
3. Bender's Big Score/Beast w/billion backs (tied for last).

I think bender's game had the best jokes and nerd references. Green yonder tied up alot of loose ends (even if it did so poorly) and had some decently written jokes.

I think bender's big score was great for the first 20 minutes or so, but I think alot of that was due to having not seen new futurama in 5 years. The plot of bender's big score was pretty bad in my opinion, I mean seriously... spam email jokes; and the villians were just obnoxious. I found it hard to listen/watch them for 2 hours. The whole emotional plotline they wrote in was good, but it really drew out the length of the movie, and in the end it didn't really go anywhere.

Beast with a billion backs was really just pretty forgettable.
