Well, there's this GMod comic called Concerned.

I've read the whole thing in like 2 days and it was awesome

Not by me, nor is it a comic or screen shot, but one of the best uses of G-mod I have ever seen.

G-Mod comics are always so lazy. It's basically just posing dolls, but it seems like nobody can be arsed to take more than a few minutes to do something interesting with it. It's always just a couple of dudes hanging around in a CS level or something.

This might be true to some extent but its a quick and easy way to get an idea out there. Sure, if I was back into comic-making I could whip-up something with 4 panels and in color but that isn't quite as fun as coming up with a throwaway/fucking crazy idea and creating it all within a day (or a week even, considering the scope of a project). Some awesome G-Modders also come up with multi-part epics which they could only tell through G-Mod. Why? because it would be too time consuming to draw up their vision and even if they did it might look worse (considering how good they are at drawing/etc) than the final product in G-Mod form with some photoshop effects thrown in.

People seem to enjoy even the throwaway stuff due to how crazy it can get - so if the creators have fun, why not?

edit: forgot one thing - posing 'dolls' ingame is annoying, so if you ever see a comic with naturally posed figures (i.e. don't look cartoonish) you can bet alot of work went into that.

I see someone hasn't seen many G-Mod Comics.

I haven't made any myself, but there's Left 4 Dumb on the Ecapist which was rather good.
