Game 2 for £25 - Which should I choose?

So, i'm going to treat myself to the 2 for £25 range going on in game. Not much of a treat I admit but thems the breaks...

I would really appreciate help deciding which out of these 4:

Assassins Creed
Dead Space
Mass Effect
Prince of Persia

Mass Effect is my recommendation, it's a pretty cool game. Asssasins Creed is really repetitive, dunno about Dead Space and Prince of Persia though.

Dead space and Mass Effect probably. Assassin's Creed won't hold your attention for long and I dont know about Prince of Persia though so you might want other people's opinions on that.

Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed for me.

Dead Space was meh, ME is awesome, PoP is really short and easy (except for the last level, but it was just frustrating, not hard in the good way) and AC is great. I've already finished it twice and I'm on my third run.

If it has to be one of those four, then it all depends what your after. If you want free-running and slashing, go for assassins creed. If you want scares and Resident-evil like shooting, get dead space. If you want great story and a freeform rpg with moral choices, go for Mass effect. And if you want to hold down a few buttons and fall asleep, go for Prince of Persia.

Personally I'd recommend AC of Mass effect.

Mass Effect is a definite buy. AC quickly gets repetitive, but it is quite fun at times. Dead Space seems (I've only watched people play) quite fun, but I cannot be sure. Haven't played Prince of Persia, but I didn't enjoy the first ones.

So Mass Effect and Dead Space/Assassin's Creed (Depends on your taste really. Survival/Horror in space or Free-running murderous rampage in the Holy Land.)

Pretty much everyone is going to say Mass Effect. In all honesty, it's not that good of a game. If you like simple shooters with an okay story and a couple RPG elements, go with that, but otherwise, I would say Dead Space and Assassin's Creed.

Assassin's Creed gets dull quite quickly and PoP feels more like an extended quick time event than a game.

I'm kind of sold on Mass effect but still unsure about the other choice!

I've just seen that Bioshock (another game I missed out on) is going for £9.99, and Mass effect is £14.99 so that would still be within budget.

Would Bioshock be a better 2nd choice?

I'm a bit of a veteran at the FPS genre and Dead Space seems a bit generic, and I can't stand repetition so that kind of kills Assassins Creed for me...

If you don't like repetition, don't go for Prince of Persia either.
About the other two choices, I heard that Dead Space tries to create atmosphere and evoke emotions, but falls flat on its face. Bioshock offers a variety of killing enemies and has some great characters. I also heard Dead Space is a tad shorter. So I'd say Bioshock.

Bioshock is probably superior to both Dead Space and Assassin's Creed, but they are still very solid games.

My rundown would probably be:

1st place: Mass Effect and Bioshock
2nd place: Mass Effect and Dead Space
3rd place: Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed
