So I've reached a point in my life where I'm considering a career change and I'm seriously looking into becoming a game designer. Before I invest a huge amount of my time into perusing this career I would like to try and experiment with game design on my own. I was basically wondering if anyone knew any good books or online tutorials that would be good to give me an idea of how to create my own games. I have a degree in theoretical physics with a minor in computer science so I'm comfortable with programming and advanced math. Any advice you guys could give would be really helpful. Thanks a lot.
