Off all the WW2 games I have ever played/heard off, be them RTS's or FPS's there has never been a campaign that lets you play as the axis. The normal formula for WW2 games is as time goes on you have more resources and more men around you, what about the opposite. ALSO excuse my ignorance if there was a game that has a campaign allowing you to play as the axis. (Also I'm not a NAZI

Plenty of multiplayer games let you play as the Axis, but there is a slight lack of single player games where you can. And you know the reason for that?

No one's going to want to play a campaign where they lose at the end.

I don't see why playing as nazis is seen as un-acceptable, they were a strong military force, that were outmatched by their opponents. (i'm not condoning their actions, just stating historical fact)

Did C&C games have axis forces ? I thought they were all ficitous forces.

What games let you play against the Allies? Panzer General leaps immediately to mind, as does the Hearts of Iron series.

Maybe that's why it sucked. I seem to recall a game called Panzer Commander from the mid 90's or so.

Many C&C games for example.

Err.... no.

Sudden Strike and Blitzkrieg. Two fine RTS's where you can play as the Axis. Also, pretty much every WW2 FPS multiplayer mode, as has been mentioned.

Add to this countless tank/plane/ship/whatever simulators.

Battlefield 1943 you can play as axis.

I specifically mentioned a campaign where you lose at the end, because the Axis lost at the end. I'm well aware they won pretty much all of their battles up till El Alamein, but they did, in fact, lose the war.
