i was playing red faction guerrilla today and i was supposed to be destroying a building but there were tons of enemies surrounding it so i attached a bunch remote detonated bombs to a car, so i drove the car towards the building, then i jumped out letting the car crash into the building, then i detonated the charges and destroyed it.
i felt like such a badass

what are some moments during a video game that have made you feel like a badass?

Going something like 50-1 in a match of Resistance: Fall of Man.

That was a good round. ^_^

Going through the final mission in Mass Effect 2 without stopping even once, and without hearing vent teammate cry for help. Also, totally dominating the "assuming direct control" guy.

Feels good.

Playing Socom 2. I was getting shot in the back I turned and did a snap shot with the DE .50. Dropped him. The forward momentum kept the player moving and he ended up behind cover, though very dead. I even have a witness to this. i would call it the pinnacle of my SOCOM career

Getting 123 kills in a Headquarters match in Modern Warfare 2, and getting 42 kills in a Halo 3 ranked slayer match.

Blowing up a structure in Bad Company 2 with enemies still in it and getting the Demolition Man 2.0 for it. It's very rare they'll still be in the building when it collapses, but when they are, i feel awesome for crushing them in their own cover.

Winning a duel in RDR

The very end of the last boss in Wind Waker

Seeing a guy on the motion tracker on Halo 3, knowing exactly where he is, throwing a frag down as he turns the corner, and then one shotting him in the head.

On the way to the "High-Bounty" trophy in Red Dead, roaming the wilderness and taking out all the agents/deputies who came after me.

But then, I realized that just killing them all meant that my bounty wouldn't go up. So I left one guy and shot out his arms. He hobbled back to the town to spread the tale.

Jump around a corner, get a triple spray... and it's the game winning killcam.

That was a pretty awesome moment :)

So its a normal day of TF2, second stage of Dustbowl, I'm defending like crazy, laying traps with my stickies and trying to get to blue spawn as best I can to destroy their tele entrances.
So I'm trading bombs with a guy when a soldier's stray rocket propels me towards a cluster of stickies, causing me to curse my luck and practically reaching for my juice as I know respawn is imminent.
Though behold! I am alive and sailing towards the centre of at least six blues, propelled by my enemies stickies. Even as I fly I can hear the two medics below pip up in unison "I am charged!" in a push that will surely kill the last defence.
Hope against hope, daring to dream, I fire out two stickies from above, the first sails wide of the group but the second is ejected with a "Krtzk" a sparkling crit settling amongst them all. I detonate it just as the move forward and two dead ringer spies uncloak amongst the hoard. From above, I can see the blood and gibs fly, rushing up to meet me on my way down, landing with but one hp left. I taunt, its a bi*chy thing to do, but by god, the killcam must have been a sight to behold.

Every second of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.

And Vin Diesel enhanced that experience so much. He delivers so many badass lines at just the right time. Take, for instance, when you and a guard are falling down a pit early on in the game.

Guard: "If the fall doesn't get you..."
*dies as his body slams against the bottom of the pit*
Riddick/Vinnie: "The sudden stop at the bottom will."

I have been on hiatus with gaming recently because of Summer courses and working full time, but I always feel like such a badass when I start playing my mulit-player games like Gears of War 2 and still manage to play incredibly well after being off it for so long.
