This is probably going to horrify some people, but The Wizard really is hysterical for the sheer camp overload.

"I love my power glove. It's so bad."

OH dear God, you make me feel old.

The Wizard is an over the top advertisement for Nintendo and specifically the Power Glove and Super Mario Bros. 3. It's a movie about a kid with emotional problems who runs away from home followed by his brother, and a random girl they meet alnog the way. The kid is so good at video games that he can score about 50,000 points in Double Dragon in about eight seconds.

They find out about a video game tournament being held at Universal Studios and figure it's a pretty sweet idea to go own the shit out of it. One villain of the piece is an egotistical rich kid who kicks ass at Rad Racer by using the Power Glove - in the exact opposite way that the power glove was supposed to work, the fact that the fucking thing didn't work notwithstanding.
The other villain is a child services contractor/bounty hunter who is trying to rescue the kid from wandering around the country unsupervised, because, you know, it's dangerous. But the wily pre-teens manage to escape his evil clutches by making him appear to be a child molester and getting him arrested.

The kids get to the tournament and find out the tournament will be decided with a NEW SECRET GAME (SMB3). The kid (i.e. THE WIZARD) manages to win, but only by getting help from the girl who for some reason is able to shout out valuable secrets about a game no one has ever seen before, in a room crowded with hyperactive children, and have him be the only one to hear her.

Usually shit. Guaranteed shit if made by Uwe Boll.

Although, Resident Evil movies didn't seem bad, though I haven't played the games.

The Resident Evil movies aren't too bad, they're ok if you like a mix of mild horror and conspiracy theory. I've only played RE4 so I can't comment on the similarity of them ovies to the original source material.

Theres a few differences in there, but i wouldn't really be bothered about them just random characters and a lack of few such as leon and claire in raccoon city

Pretty much all of them are terrible.
I think Viewtiful Joe would make a great movie.

I actually thought the game of Quantam of Solace was pretty sweet, despite what everyone else thinks.

Only saw the second installment, and I was actualy quite impressed. I expected a story with the intelect of a small, unnamed rodent yet to be discovered because it's not yet significant enough to mention, but it instead had an interesting story. What makes this more amazing is that I've only seen the first half hour or so in fragments of about 5 mins with 15 mins intervalls and actualy bothered to give up mythbusters to watch it.

Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within was actually a pretty cool movie- mostly because it wasn't about the game. I hated those misleading commercials and previews, though...

I remember seeing it and i walked out of the cinema going 'what the f**k is this', after seeing it again i did actually like it even though it wasn't a game (i remember those ads lol) it think i could be made into a nice little game.

Resident Evil: Degeneration was great, I'm getting it at the weekend.
It was a bit... cheesy at times, but that's Resident Evil for you.
I thought the live action ones were awful. Alice is such a Mary-Sue.

I would say Advent Children, but I think the OP will hit me if I do XD;
