Well, I definitely think Sonic the hedgehog really, really, i mean REALLY needs to die.

Die: Every sports game for at least 3 full years. Then if and ONLY IF they actually change or improve them in some notable way worthy of costing $60 or $80 may they be allowed to make a new one. Otherwise completely die or just release DLC for roster updates.
Most likely guitar hero/rock band as well need to stop after the next games come out, then it should just be DLC. After coming out with real guitars as controllers there's no where else to go except not playing the game anymore and starting a band.
Live/Sequel: For some reason I still really love the Dynasty Warriors series, though they do slack a bit with sequel it seems.
I also want a new Shinobi game. There was basically a sequel in Nightshade, but I want more. Shinobi for PS2 is still such an awesome game to me, even though it was hard as hell.

I agree almost completely. Final Fantasy should join the Die pile, along with Halo, Gears of War, and Devil Mat Cry. They're not even going anywhere anymore. They're just milking the Cash Cows. Well as far as dying... I have to say Final Fantasy. Its far past its prime, and should just die now. That and all the guitar hero and rock band games.

Die:Sonic Crash Bandicoot and Spyro before they get any worse, Guitar Hero and Rock Band. FF because just the other day when I heard they annouced fourteen I thought "I think we have enough...."

...you know what? Here's a thought. Pokemon can live if they only go back to having the last pokemon as Ho-Oh and Luigia and just have a large amount of events, large maps with lots to do and more text more moves more story. That would be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Like a really well done hack. And just keep making those. Because no matter what I keep buying them and sinking fourty hours in in the first week. I do NOTHING ELSE!

Things like Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider - they're cash-cows and as I'm so adamant in reminding everyone, gaming corps are bussinesses that would produce snuff films starring their own mother if there was a profit in that.
Sequels are here to stay. Just roll with it, tolerate them, and times like this, just kick back and slurp the delicious Metroid fanboy tears.
