So I was rewatching a Left 4 dead trailer which is funny because I never played the game but thought the trailer was awesome same for the Twisted Metal 2012 trailer. So my question is to you do you still watch trailers of games that already been released and if so what are they

Yeah, I watch the Skyrim trailer because it's still epic, Papers Please because it's soviet as hell,

This trailer re-dubbed with Team Fortress 2 sounds
Because it's hilarious and well done.

And let's see... The "Atom bomb baby" trailer for Fallout 4. It's fueled some deep imagination for me.

Portal 1 trailer because the first had 4000 Degrees Kelvin for the music, and the portal 2 teaser is pretty good too.

Sure, sometimes it's fun to re-watch the trailers for games I've enjoyed and reminisce over them.

These are the two most recent ones which spring to mind right now and which I've re-watched and enjoyed even after having beaten the games themselves.

And if you want something really nostalgic:

The fact I even remember the name of the trailer itself after 18-19ish years speaks volumes. It was one of the many trailers on one of those promotional discs that used to come with games, in this case my copy of Tomb Raider, and I remember re-watching that trailer so many times because of just how damned cool I thought it was. Re-watching it today almost two decade later... yeah, it's still damned cool.

Same with these which were on my Starcraft and later Diablo 2 cd:

Funnily enough Diablo 2 ended up being drastically different than what's depicted in that cinematic, but again... so cool!

There's nothing quite like it. Remember being 12 and seeing this ad on TV

Same with this one, remember the hype at GameTrailers, seeing it on TV, the hype was unreal...and the game blew me away at the time. One if not the best sequel to a game ever.

I still watch Izanami's launch trailer for BlazBlue: Central Fiction every few days because it's fuckin' hype. She has a legit ZA WARUDO and her music is amazing. She's pretty high up the tierlist too last time I checked.

Kinda disappointed how she doesn't fight with that huge ceremonial dress on but hey, that outfit works too.

Really old, but was a cool trailer. Every few year I pop back this trailer CD that came with brave fencer musashi I think from square soft. I miss square soft, can't believe it all went to shit so fast.

Lost Oydssey. I remember this ad playing a lot, back in the day. Kinda cheating with the use of Jefferson Airplane, but it's a great JRPG, probably one of the best.

Waiting to see if Santa Monica Studio's GoW4 trailer will outdo the impression this gave 7 years ago -

I remember them saying the titan stuff was during gameplay and looping it for days.

Mad World and Metal Gear Rising trailer.

For Mad World, this was the third trailer to come out, and it was the first one present the "sports" commentators Howard and Kreese. More fun and interesting than that fox girl commentator from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Dead Island. To remember how easy the publishers can manipulate the expectations for games that no one has seen any gameplay.

Good thing that people no longer fall for it anymore, right?

Yeah that was a random choice, a song about a fairy tale and drug used to promote a JRPG that has no link to either. Still it worked great!

One of those more recent(well, relatively).

And it just pains me that the song used in this is only a remix created for the trailer's purpose, not an actual piece.

Probably the only one I've wanted to watch multiple times even after it came out:

Particularly because Dudley was my SF3 main, but the music is nice too. This is how you properly hype people up for a DLC expansion pack- nineten new entries and not one of them a Shotoclone.

There's just something about the music that goes so well with the video

damn someone beat me to a witcher 3 trailer!

to be honest, up until 2 hours ago (complete coincidence that I came across this thread) I hadn't seen this trailer before, and I thought it was damn well done (I heard it ties into the expansions? haven't gotten to those yet)
