That was bad wording on my part, When you buy a Nintendo product you get x amount of club Nintendo points, which can be used to buy past Ninty games for the Wii virtual console, or you can order items from the Nintendo website, though those are normally as desirable as cardboard body armourSteveBurger said:When did they start doing that?tricky_tree said:can you use the points to get any goodies a lá Nintendo?

I don't know if 4000 points is what you get for realising which end of the gun goes 'bang', or for completing Resi 5 without laughing at the dialogueChapper said:I like gamerscore.
Mostly to boast to friends. Me and one have this little ongoing competition to have the most. Lately I've ourun him, though, by some 4000 points.
Gamerscore is just the latest version of something that has existed for decades already: high scores. Gamerscores go back to the arcade halls. It has only grown bigger (or worse, depending on your perspective) now that the internet has come along, but it's practically the same thing.SimuLord said:Gamerscore: Proof-of-concept of awkward nerdiness writ large. People who obsess over their gamerscores? Don't get me started.
Uhm... I don't know what to tell you back. Are you pro gamerscore or against it?tricky_tree said:I don't know if 4000 points is what you get for realising which end of the gun goes 'bang', or for completing Resi 5 without laughing at the dialogueChapper said:I like gamerscore.
