I was looking at a list of games being released shortly in the future and I must say they are a major improvement from the games released at the same time last year.
First there is the open world game made by Pandemic called Saboteur. The visuals of this game are stunning and the physics are amazing. The game definitely looks like a vast improvement from the epic failure that was Mercenaries 2.
The next standout game is Army of Two The 40th Day. Haha Army of Two-2. Looks like it's not going to stand out as much as the first one in sheer gameplay and graphics but should be fun either way.
On February 2 Aliens VS Predator will be released. I haven't seen to much on this game but from what I have seen this game is going to be filled to the top with blood and gore. One of the most standout things of this game is that the player is going to be able to play as either the humans, the aliens, or the predators.
Then February 9th will roll around with Bioshock 2. I must admit that the first Bioshock game didn't impress me like it did other people it was still a great game, and the sequel promises to be better in every way. Also the Special Edition of this game looks astounding.
February 23rd will have 3 highly anticipated games. Dead to Rights Retribution I haven't seen much on but controlling Shadow to kill and unsuspecting victim will be awesome. Lost Planet 2 is a huge upgrade from the first one at least in visual. I've only played the demos of both Lost Planet games and the sequel has unbelievable graphics and much better gameplay. Then of course there is Splinter Cell Conviction which is going to be the best splinter cell game ever due to the fact that you're actually going to feel like a highly trained killer. Knocking lights out and throwing people off ledges looks like it's going to be fun as hell.
Exactly one month later on March 23rd Just Cause 2 will arrive grappling and parachuting it's way into millions of Xbox 360s around the world. This game has many improve including the grappling hook to latch on to vehicles and choppers much like the one in Mercs 2. Also there is huge upgrade in the graphics and this to me means I'm going to spend countless hours going around the paradise island just admiring the scenery.
When April 27th pops up I'll be playing Backbreaker. Backbreaker is a new take on the way football should be in a game. Using the Euphoria Engine every tackle will be different. This will mean that there will be some nasty tackles happening in the Spring.
