When you think about it, Final Fantasy is basically Math: The Video Game. Just think of swords as subtraction signs.

I've actually always imagined negative numbers as 'Poison' from RPGs.

OP:The Dynasty/Samurai Warriors games and all of their spin-offs have taught me much about Chinese/Japanese history.

Hm, yeah, and I guess when you really think about about it, weapons and armor are really more like exponents, as they aren't often the source of power/defense themselves, but rather multipliers of the stats that are already there.

I've learned some Japanese by playing Final Fantasy VIII. We imported the game, and I played it, and well, yeah. I learned a bit of Japanese from that.

I learnt some history from the Age of Empires series, but every kid and their dog says that so it's no real surprise.

The Civilopedia from Civilization IV taught me a lot about Huayna Capac and Mao Tse-Tung.

Th Heavy's gun, Sascha, fires 200 dollar custom made cartridges at ten thousand rounds per minute.

a) How long do you have to keep firing, to attain the Heavy Industry [http://tf2wiki.net/wiki/Heavy_achievements] achievement in TF2?
