Games for Windows Acheivements

Can you still get a achievements that become part of your xbox account with games foe Windows, like Dawn of War 2 these days?

I don't know if it has changed since then, but when I played Bioshock 2 on the PC in January it added them onto my Microsoft/Xbox account. I can see it when I visit the website.

If you already own the games, the Achievements in them are still working. I got one in Flight just the other day I believe.
