I like video games (that's pretty obvious), I also play alot of video games (that too is pretty obvious). Anyway I've never had a way to quantify how much I play video games, so at the beginning of the year I decided I would create a comprehensive list of games I've beaten. My criteria was that I beat the single player campaign, or if I invest more than 60 hours into the game (I'm also counting DLC I beat). Next to the game I added the console I beat it on, and a very short review by your truly.
Without further adieu, here it is:

January
Dead Space_PS3 (It tried a too hard to be scary, but altogether I liked it)
Pixeljunk Shooter_PS3 (The physics were amazing, worth the money)
Shadow of the Colossus_PS2 (An artisic gamer's dream, it deserves the hype)

February
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle_Wii (Not as good as the first, but still awesome)
Final Fantasy VII_PSP (It was good, but not worth the hype)
Bioshock 2_PS3 (I hated it. I wanted to forget it existed, and go play the first one)
Heavy Rain_PS3 (A fresh gaming experience, and I liked it. Voice acting made me laugh though)

March
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee_PSP (So difficult, but the masochist in me loved it)
God of War III_PS3 (The story got a little silly, but that didn't stop it from being awesome)
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia_DS (One of my favorite handheld games. I loved it)

April
Silent Hill_PS3 (It was actually scary, the voice acting was hilariously bad though)

May
Final Fantasy XIII_PS3(Good graphics, combat system had potential, everthing else was terrible)
The Secret of Monkey Island_PS3 (It was really funny, and I loved it)
Mirror's Edge_PS3 (If Dice learns from their mistakes a sequel could be awesome)
Kingdom Hearts_PS2 (I liked it, but I still don't see what all the hype is about)
Call of Duty 4_PS3 (A good game. I loved the "Dr. Strangelove" reference)
LittleBigPlanet_PS3 (So much fun. I spent a lot of time playing other people's levels)
Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta_PS3 (Got kinda boring after awhile, but I still liked it)
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction_PS3 (I liked it a lot)
Metroid Prime_Wii (Too easy, but I still liked it)
Psychonauts_PS2 (Loading screen were too long, everything else was amazing)

June
Dead Space: Extraction_Wii (Not scary at all, but I liked it)
[Prototype]_PS3 (The story was laughably terrible, but I loved the gameplay)
Pokemon Rumble_Wii (If you got a buddy and you both like pokemon, play it. Otherwise, don't)
Resident Evil 5: Lost in Nightmares_PS3 (I liked it better than all of RE5)

July
5 Days a Stranger_PC (Yahtzee makes good games. Go check it out)
DJ Hero_PS3 (I liked it. Fun to bring out at parties)
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass_DS (It had it's share of problems, but I still liked it)
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood_PSP (So difficult, but so fun)
Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time_PS3 (I liked it a lot)
God of War: Chains of Olympus_PSP (Too short, good graphics, fun gameplay, thumbs up)
Kirby: Squeak Squad_DS (Kirby is just the coolest thing, and it was fun)
Resident Evil: Desperate Escape_PS3 (Not as good as Lost in Nightmares, but still fun)

August
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword_DS (A lot better than you think it is)
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night_PSP (It is now in my top 5 of favorite games)
Dead Rising_Xbox 360 (It had a lot of problems, but I liked it)
Bayonetta_PS3 (This game is rediculous, that is all)

September
Metroid: Zero Mission_DS (It was pretty fun)
Metroid: Fusion_DS (In my top 10 favorite games)
Limbo_Xbox 360 (Yeah, it's that good)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney_DS (New guilty pleasure. Now I just gotta get the second one)

October
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow_DS (Such a bad story, gmaeplay was fun though)
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance_DS (It wasn't that good)
Dead Rising 2_PS3(Some problems were fixed and some weren't, regarless I liked this one more)

November
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow_DS (I enjoyed it quite a bit)
Batman: Arkham Asylum_PS3 (This is what a Batman game should be. It's really good)

December
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves_PS3 (Second time beating it. Still just as incredible)
Enslaved: Odyessey to the West_PS3 (Too easy, but a fantastic story)
Super Smash Bros. Brawl_Wii (I checked I've play 100 hours. Most of it as Mr. Game and Watch)

That's it, waddaya guys think?

I played some games.

Never had the time to beat them. Most of it was replaying, anyway - my gaming money appears to have evaporated after buying a bunch of games for others, so I couldn't afford much in the way of new stuff.

So, uh... I guess that's nothing, then. It's been a busy year. I think I get about two hours of playing time a week, on average. Rest is work.

I've "beaten" three games this year:

- Fallout 3
- Fallout New Vegas
- Napoleon: Total War (in the sense that I played and won all of Napoleon's campaigns).

I've played a lot more games than just that, but those are the ones it's possible to "finish".

Since my account got deleted (accident) most of them are replays:

Gears of war 1-2
Mass Effect 1-2
Fallout 3 (DLC not included)

And first time completing:

The Saboteur
Brutal Legend
Borderlands (Also DLC not included, but I'll get to that eventually)

It may help if I put my list into context for you guys. You see, me and a friend of mine were having a competition to see who could beat the most games (I won). So because of that, most of the games on my list were games that I got really close to beating in years past, but never got around to finishing. I honestly didn't spend that much time gaming this year.

The fact that, Demon's Souls has yet to be mentioned.... is just wrong.

CoD4, SSF4, Demon's Souls all completed.

I put most of my time on the computer, and I work too much ><

So add in WoW, PSO (private server) and League of Legends and thats my list.

Mass Effect 2. That may be it. I tend to lose interest long before the end of most games due to almost every game story sucking and outstaying its welcome. Oh, wait, I also finished Alpha Protocol. That was a great game!

I've bought a million games though.
