Nick loves doing video game shows. They did Tak and the Power of JuJu, amazing show based off an amazing game. I think it only got one season though. Damn kids! Learn good entertainment!

Anyway, I would love to see a Ratchet & Clank TV show. It would be hilarious with Quark getting in his hijinks and being his usual quarky self. Add Dr.Nefarious being well... nefarious and you have a perfect show.

Chrono Trigger.

I mean...it's old enough that it might actually be new to a few people.

Halo would work well, and what do ya know? They will be making that one series they talked about at E3. It should be simple, but I could see them messing it up somehow. CGI would be best I think considering there are so many inhuman characters, plus we could keep any and all well known voice actors. Basically, just make a show just like the cutscenes from Halo Wars, that would be the best case scenario.

I would love to see Psychonaughts made into a TV show. Given the diversity of the levels you could have an episode on the purely absurd and hilarious and follow it up with an episode which is gritty and harrowing. I'm not sure whether i'd prefer it as CG or live action. I'm leaning more towards live action.

EDIT: The demographic? The game touches on some pretty heavy issues so i'm thinking a more mature audience.

Well, I don't see why Persona hasn't been made into an anime...unless it has and I'm just horribly misinformed. I could see it working as a sort of cross between .HACK//'s anime crossed with...well, just about any high school-based com-drama-ance... I AM HORRIBLY MISINFORMED! Well I was...ANYWAY

I can see Legend of Zelda working as a mini-series or, an anime. Each season could take place during each of the Zelda games. I can see a similar style of anime working with Final Fantasy games though each FF title would likely be its own series. They have tried Final Fantasy as an anime a few times but if I remember correctly, none of the two that I know of were outright adaptations of specific games...except for the third one I just remembered, Final Fantasy VII: The Last Order.

Too bad the Halo series in production now is live action. Forward Unto Dawn turned out pretty good though, so it should be fine.

I am not sure how it would turn out, but I would love to see a Vampire: The Masquerade show.

Edit: Oops. Apparently there is one. Made in 1996.

Well, besides Persona 4 The Animation, there was that one anime spin-off of Persona 3 called Persona: Trinity Soul...

OT: Besides Hyperdimension Neptunia tying me over multiple times, I would LOVE to see a Kingdom Hearts anime series that's as random as the manga series...

Also, Crash Bandicoot... Enough said...

You are in fact horribly misinformed, there is a Persona 4: the Animation
EDIT: And ninja'd by 7 minutes. I should make a point of not walking away halfway through a post

I can't really think of any games I would want a straight adaptation into a tv show, I already know the story, and any changes they made I'd undoubtedly be comparing to the game. However a video game spinoff set in the world of a game I could get behind. Maybe something setting up either Ico or SotC? Something giving the origin of the Queen or Dormin. They wrote an unofficial book for Ico that set out to explain what happened before the game and it wasn't half bad.

Oh that's right, well, I just hope they can make the Covenant look really good for the show. I remember they made the brutes look menacing in those Halo 3 live action shorts, if they can do that for the other races that would be great.

Well, put it this way... I was mostly going to mention Trinity Soul, considering I remember watching that without realizing its connection with Persona 3...

Besides, Persona 4 WAS the obvious response anyway...

I've always thought with a bit of tweaking Fallout 3 would make a really good TV show. It could be a bit like Supernatural in that there's an overlying story but some episodes are just for adding interesting information about the world. The first season could be finding your dad (up to the simulation), second season the build up to the fight with the Enclave (up to Camp Searchlight) and the final season is the final fight (including the Broken Steel DLC). Then you could also have some episodes about going back to Vault 101 and Riley's Rangers and such. You'd have to change the whole water purifier situation so it would make more sense but it could be really good.

You know what? Timesplitters could work (more the second with the tone of the third since the story of the third is so nicely wrapped in the game itself), each episode would be a time period where the main character has to recapture a time crystal with the help of people from that period (fighting the bad guys from that period too) with the big bad being the Timesplitters (the aliens).

Here is a sample of the tone:

Kind of kidding but in a way would like to see Unreal Tournament, basicly Spartacus with sci-fi shit, metal music, aliens, robots and goths.
This intro sets the tone for it very well.

As some already said Psychonauts could very easily work.

Alan Wake (the game itself was like a TV show), they could even finish the story with that. It already had some web episodes as a prequel.

Well apparently I was uninformed as well, I had never heard of Trinity Soul before your post. Is it any good?

I thought I was going to be a bore by harping on about my usual Timesplitters worship. You make me feel a little better.

But yeah, you say basically what I was going to say, different time periods, consistent goal, colourful character roster. Anything goes. Considering it'd likely be for kids, though, some characters might need some design tweaks.

Cutesy Headsprouter as the sidekick, though? Bring it on!

To me, it's actually really good, despite it being non-canon...

Also, I do not think it was ever dubbed, unlike Persona 4 The Animation, so I'm not surprised not that many people actually know about it...
