Games on your wishlist right now.

There have been a many amazing games released in 2015 and many more announced for the coming years. 2015 has felt like a good year, so much so that I actually now have more than 16 games on my wishlist, 14 of them on steam (up from my usual 5 or less), the rest on console.

So Escapists, what games are you looking forward to getting? Maybe a game that is already released, or one that won't arrive until 2017.

and at the risk of sounding like a parrot, I can't deny that Undertale has been my favorite game i've played from 2015. This game actually has both a ton of emotional moments mixed with a lot of actual fun gameplay for a great price.

Shout out to Hand of Fate though. A neat mashup of different mechanics and a unique atmosphere.

Warhammer 40,000: Deathwatch Enhanced Edition

...that's about it. Everything else just looks predictable and sequel-y. I mean I loved Fallout 3, but I got so bored of its repetitive gameplay and bland 2-dimensional characters, quests and story. And damned if Fallout 4 just looks like a upres of F3.

Maybe Elite Dangerous will be good. Looks fun, if needlessly complex.

I'm waiting until I have the money to buy Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth 2 on Steam, it's the only thing I want on Steam right now. I had more fun than I would like to admit with the first one since it's at least 80% fanservice and it revels in all common anime and JRPG tropes so anyone who has ever played a Final Fantasy game or watched basically any battle anime in their life can predict the entire story.

It can actually be pretty funny and the combat does the impossible and makes grinding for levels fun. Walking into an old dungeon and legitimately oneshotting an old optional boss that was really hard a few hours ago by locking it into limbo using magic science is damn satisfying. I hope MAGES. makes a comeback in the sequel cuz she's the coolest looking female character i've seen in a long time.

Also I want Yandere Simulator to succeed so much, I will buy it the moment it releases. I don't care how long it takes, if the one man dev team manages to make it as good as he wants it to be and looking at the progress videos I can actually say it looks promising. Most importantly, there is a button dedicated to just make Yandere-chan start up extremely yandereish insane laugher. GOTY confirmed.

More than ten. We could start the count at thirty, in fact: on three separate occasions, I've played with each clan, to a total of 3x7 = 21, plus the other times I've played it. I'm not actually sure on what the total count is.

Yeah, I just don't have it on Steam - I've been sort of tempted to get it when it is really cheap but since my money would just go towards Activision, I decided not to, as I don't really want to live with that. I'm keeping the in my wishlist to monitor for price cuts.

Tabletop Simulator and the new Kings' Quest (The Whole 60$ one). Everything else on my Wishlist is DLC for Paradox Games (CKII and EUIV, specifically).

But yeah, I'm going to get Tabletop Simulator around Christmas, then I can host Unforgotten Realms Live games on Youtube or Twitch or privately or something. I don't know when I can get the Full Kings' Quest. I may end up doing episode by episode if I have to.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. I wasn't too keen on them re-using Jensen for this one, but if the gameplay is anywhere close to the quality of DE: HR I'm sold.

Shadow Warrior 2. Seriously, this game looks amazing. I watched gameplay from Doom 4, and in my opinion it doesn't hold a candle to what I've seen (and heard) about Shadow Warrior 2. Loved the first one, even though it had some issues, but it looks like they're going out of their way to fix the little issues and make the game awesome.

Fallout 4. Please let this be awesome.

Total War: Warhammer. Please let this be awesome.

Far Cry 4: I'm basically just waiting for the game to go on sale. I wasn't too keen on them moving the games away from the tropical island settings, and I've heard a lot of people say this one isn't quite as good, but still, it's Far Cry, so I'll pick it up when it's cheap.

Early access games I'm looking forward to being completed: Grim Dawn and Warmachine: Tactics.
