Now, before some knucklehead goes "SEARCH BAR WOULD BE A GOOD MOVIE!!11!11" I'm gonna specify this thread a bit more to make it more original.

Part one, simple: Which games could make good movies with some script rework and absence of Uwe Boll?

Part two: Which actors would you have to play the different roles, alternatively also which director would you have direct it?

Mine will come soon.

I think there may be potential fr a Mass Effect movie; if it were to tell the story of the novels, instead of the game.

Then again, Hollywood butchers everything, so I'd just as soon NOT see a ME movie.

As for actors/directors, I have no idea...

I believe a bioshock movie is being made, and I'm quite excited. I think Tracy Morgan should play Jack.

No. I'm kidding.

Shadow of the Colossus would be a badass film.

I would cast Rosie O'Donnell, Rosanne Barr and Oprah Winfrey as the Colossuses.

I dunno. Any single game has nowhere near the amount of story required to fill a 90 minute- 2 hour movie. Which is why almost every game movie has failed.

Maybe Halo, maybe half life 2.. but I don't know. It all depends on the Hollywood process.

Any game could be a decent movie with the right script and actors. Even Solitair and Tetris.

And I like Uwe Boll. Not only has he tried to give some extra life to the gaming industry when most people prefer to just look the other way, but some of his movies are fun to laugh at.

Perhaps even Asteroids? Oh wait...

A Red Alert movie. Just run all those awesome cut-scenes together and put in some CG epic battle scenes.

1)Prototype. It could actually be a good action/conspiracy flick.

2)Samuel L. Jackson as Alex, Samuel L. Jackson as his sister, and Samuel L. Jackson as the Infected.
I like how you think amigo.

Ok, follow me on this one (and suddenly, I realized, that most of you haven't played Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood...).

Call of Juarez:Bound in Blood.

NO rewrite necessary !

Christian Bale (Equilibrium) as Thomas
Russel Crowe (Gladiator)or Hugh Jackman (X-Men / Wolverine)as Ray
By god I have no idea who would be good for William.

Now THAT would be a GRANDTASTIC movie!

I've always thought that Earthbound would make a good movie

I can't do number two because I have no knowledge of actors and actresses

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I would really like to see a Half-Life movie about the Seven Hour War. Give us a cast of unknowns; definitely include Barney in the movie. For a director, I can't think of anyone better than Ridley Scott.

Half-Life, if done correctly it could be one of the most popular movies ever. unfortunately, judging by hollywood's track record...i dont see it happening well.

Unless Jesus and the Buddha descend from heaven and advise Peter Jackson.
