Two games that were fairly far along in development and then took a shotgun blast to the face.

First, there's "Legacy of Kain: The Dark Prophecy", from the looks of it a continuation of the storyline after the events of "Defiance" using the same engine.

And second, I'm still hung up on "StarCraft: Ghost". I still can't understand why they dumped this one, the concept was enticing and it looked fantastic.
