Left 4 Dead, I just cant be bothered playing it until I can have some trust worthy buddies to watch my back and laugh about how we just owned them when we are the zombz!

Dont flame me but Fallout 3. That game actaully gave me a headache. Once you find your father I just lost all interest. Exploration was needless, I had an insane amount of eqiupment and Vats combat really bored me while regular combat was oblivion with long range swords.

For some reason, I didn't like Civ 4 nearly as much as I liked Alpha Centauri. Apparently it gets better with expansions, but I don't really feel compelled to buy expansions when the base game didn't excite me much.

Pretty much anything I start playing out of nostalgia.

"Oh, this really wasn't that good...I hated this level..." etc.

To be honest I have to agree. I gave Fallout 3 a go with great anticipation, having never played a Fallout game before I thought now would be a good time to give the series a shot, with a next-gen sequel. Sadly it did leave me feeling rather neutral and unphased. It wasn't a rubbish game for sure, but it didnt get me hooked in any fashion.

Ah, yet another thread that has real flamewar possibility. Hopefully we can all stay calm...

1. Mass Effect (liked the story, didn't like the shooter parts, mako was annoying, hope for better in the sequel.)
2. Red Alert 3 (Fun, but just not as good as the old Westwood classics)
3. Bioshock (I agree with Yahtzee here, too much like System shock 2 in some ways, not enough in other ways)
4. Oblivion (just generally disappointing, would have spent no time with it if it wasn't for the mods)
5. Half-Life 2 (annoying vehicle sections, disliked Alyx, otherwise it was good)

I going to use my pychic powers to guess that a lot of people in this thread are going to say Halo.
Well kind of, I think about playing multiplayer all day then play like 2 rounds before I get bored and move onto Forza, Fallout, or Rockband

I could just never get into Fallout 3. Post-apocalyptic sci-fi just does absolutely nothing for me, and I can't play F3 without thinking "I could be playing Morrowind or Oblivion where I like the setting a lot more."

I'd much rather game in historic/light fantasy worlds than in modern or future realms. When I get an urge to play a game that's set in a world I don't like, no matter how good the gameplay is I get bored quickly.

I didn't get very far at all and I lost interest, which made me frustrated for the rest of the day considering I'd really looked forward to playing it. Ah well...

I played Fallout 2, didn't think it was really as amazing as people think. At least for me, I'm sure it's a good game if you're into RPGs like that, but I prefer just shooting someone and getting it over with to dancing around for 30 minutes just to kill an ant.
