So, I was just casually burning through Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance today, when I hit chapter 27. After thinking this Fire Emblem game was remarkably easy, and even this chapter was far too easy for such a late chapter, I arrived at the second stage of the chapter and BAM DAMN BRICK WALL. You have to kill a level 20 (max level character) with your main character, which doesn't sound that bad, unless you haven't levelled him up at frigging all. Now, up till now you could have easily massacred the game without levelling this little turd up, but once you hit this chapter, you have no chance of continung the game without having the main character at a high level. 0 chance. And you can't go back to a previous stage of the game because it automatically saves progress after every chapter. Thank you Fire Emblem, just throw away 16 hours of effort because I was too foolish to not level the blue haired THING up.
So, have you even encountered a game that completely screws you over like this? Especially at a later stage of the game?
