Games that need to be revived

For me this is kind of a rant because i'm always so mad every time i see someone saying no mother 4 but off that topic what games do you think need to make a comeback? Good sonic games Earthbound whatever you think needs to come back what do you think?

Gunstar Heroes. It needs to comeback. Combining weapons was awesome, as were the really cool boss fights.


New Sonic can do fine, if the developers look at Unleashed. The daytime stages of Unleashed
were a huge step in the right direction, the night stages were what's wrong with Sonic today.

Marathon. The story was so deep and intriguing, and there's something charming about that cheesy Star Trek/Stargate/sci-fi look to the game. I wish Bungie would've done more of that with Halo.

The problem is that there are a lot of original ideas that still have stuff to do, but they don't get the sequels they deserve. Beyond Good and Evil, for instance, had a lot more to do, much more story to tell. But it didn't get a sequel because it didn't make enough money.

OP: Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. Both have been absolutely butchered by the companies that have taken them since their inception by Naughty Dog and Insomniac, respectively. They need to be brought back in the same way they originally existed.

Vagrant Story.
Because the game ended with Square promising us a sequel. LITERALLY.

For those who don't know. Vagrant Story was only THE BEST RPG for the Playstation.
(Compared to Vagrant Story, I'd rate Final Fantasy 7, on the Fun-Scale, somewhere on the level of watching paint dry.
...Actually, I'd rate it there anyway. I always preferred Final Fantasy 6 over that overhyped piece of garbage. Deformed sprites with no facial expressions beyond blinking and maybe a turn of the head conveyed more emotion than the actualy videos in FF7.)

New sequels to either would make me very, very happy.

Sonic needs to make a comeback or he's going in the gutter. Speaking of things Sega related, a Chromehounds sequel would be very nice. Especially, since they're closing their online service in 2010.

Also, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, which was such an underrated game. That definitely needs a sequel.

I would love to see a Maximum Carnage re-make. That game was brutal, especially for a Genesis (or SNES) game. First few minutes in, and you see a guy cleaved in half. Man, they could do wonders with it now...
