Games that piss you off but that you can't stop playing.

What are some games that, for whatever reason, infuriate you but that you keep coming back to? Also, why do they piss you off?

I forgot to include my own answer *faceplam*. God Hand is a game that absolutely adore, but it can get brutally hard even on easy mode.

Counter-Strike Source. The one shot death thing is extremely frustrating but I love it.

Interestingly enough, dragon age origins, I just got it, and already hate it, but view it as a very difficult challenge of tolerance, so far it seems like its just been Final fantasy 12 (which I will admit I played at least for 3 weeks off and on 5 hours, but did not finish by sheer irritation) and it feels like the same game, only a few tweaks, the gambit system (the computer never obeys) the wait until attack while still running around pointlessly and can still miss, yet get hit still there in all their glowing red mouths spewing bile to me.
But yes, Dragon age origins, so far this is the first time ive felt this much contempt and curiousity at the same time.

well, not really - but i was really excited to get little big planet, and it annoyed me with it's mediocrity. so much so i thought my good-game-o-metre was severely off - so i continued playing... hopefully it was an acquired taste... but to no avail.

i played it for so much longer than any other mediocre game. that annoyed me a lot.

The first GRAW on PC. Hot damn is it hard, but i still love it. Finished it the other day though, and i almost don't want to boot up the second one because i know it won't be as frustrating.

COD: World at War, on Vet. It's passable, but barely. There are so many times that I poke my head up to view the shit situation the sarge got me into, and I'm dead before I can even set m sights straight. I'll pass it though, that platinum trophy shall be mine! (God damn you, flamethrower!)

Borderlands. My elemental damage kills the last enemy right as I get downed, causing me to die and get really angry. yet I always come back.

the first mario game. I downloaded it from the Wii shop channel. I die from the stupidest reasons. But it's so much fun!!!! My Wii is literally on right now right in front of me and Super Mario Bros. keeps calling to me (must resist urge to play!!!)

Pretty much this, only Call of Duty 4 as well, in my case. Seriously, Veteran is HARD.
