For me, I think the top 2 is Planescape: Torment and The Witcher
For the first, running around in Sigil was just boring to me, and searching for the bronze sphere was a gigantic drag. From the point after though, the game suddenly becomes the best game ever made. I was surprised
Though I'm a Witcher fan, I can't help but feel sympathetic with Yathzee's review, since he only played the first chapter, which is hell. Its repetition, boring quests and masked railroadiness really sucks. But progressing further, I found myself playing one of the most mature, interesting a creative RPGs of this decade.
