From personal opinion, What games do you think they should have spent a bit more time creating, fixing, playtesting?

Vampire bloodlines the masquerade. had the makings of an epic game sadly rushed.
But is still being carried on by the community. The Companion/Embrace mod is epic beyond Epic; especially when you can trick Tourette into being bloodbound to you.

+1
I love the KOTOR games, but I never feel like I'm getting any closure. It's always, like,

"well ya beat the game! *confetti in the air* thats it, that's all,...come on guy, dont get mad, you can still play another life. wait! what are you doing with that hammer?! wait! stop! agghhhghh........."

All of the Fallout DLC.

The Pitt was unplayable upon release, Broken Steel had terrible framerate issues, as did Point Lookout.

Point Lookout made you fall through floors in the Pitt.

And Mothership Zeta was basically just a piece of shit.

Shadow of the Colossus. It's a groundbreaking game unfortunately let down by clunky controls. The amount of work they put in for it was astonishing, but if they had just spent a little more time smoothing out the bumps in the control scheme and camera, it wouldn't be so fecking frustrating.

Half Life 2 Ep 2, I wouldn't have said no to a longer campaign, as I beat it in under 4 hours...(on hard of course, AND doing the Little Rocket Man achievement at the same time.)

But they were too busy adding the obtrusive, useless UI that tells you important things like what your character is currently holding in his hands, since no human being could be expected to work that out on their own.

As for my suggestion, Far Cry 2 needed 50 square kilometres of ideas to put in its map rather than just forcing you to drive around it to admire all the pretty areas they'd made.

That brings up another point. Why is there even a UI at all? The only thing you need to know is your stamina, really, since your HP refills and it's totally useless (as you said) for the game to tell you what your character is holding.

Not to mention that for such an immersive game, it's rather jarring to see this unrealistic video game HUD.

Another thing that's annoying are the "hints" that pop up over and over. Some of the Colossi take quite a while to kill using the correct method, so it's conceivable you could hear Dormin (or Dolmin-I don't remember how it's spelled) yelling at you to kill the boss AS YOU ARE KILLING THE BOSS.

A better idea would have been some sort of item you could use to receive hints.

Champions the Online MMORPG-the collision problems with the cars alone are stunning. It needed a few more months of debugging.

Folklore has it the UI is there because the publisher's suits told the devs that a game with no UI wouldn't sell. Even the stamina isn't really necessary since Wander visibly has more trouble holding on as it decreases.

That, it's Nimrod [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod] spelled backwards. Relevant parts are that Nimrod ordered the construction of the Tower of Babel, and

One tradition [...] says that Shem killed him because he had led the people into the worship of Baal, then tore his body to pieces and had them sent them out as a warning to others not to indulge in the false worship. Later his mother or wife, Shemiramis, collected them, put them together and claimed he was still alive, but had become a god
