From personal opinion, What games do you think they should have spent a bit more time creating, fixing, playtesting?
But is still being carried on by the community. The Companion/Embrace mod is epic beyond Epic; especially when you can trick Tourette into being bloodbound to you.phoenixlink said:Vampire bloodlines the masquerade. had the makings of an epic game sadly rushed.

loved alot of the game..but jesus that was such a letdown, and they def. coulda had SO MUCH MORE, but just decided to throw out the outline without a rough draft or the final draft being done at all
But they were too busy adding the obtrusive, useless UI that tells you important things like what your character is currently holding in his hands, since no human being could be expected to work that out on their own.Vuzzmop said:Shadow of the Colossus. It's a groundbreaking game unfortunately let down by clunky controls. The amount of work they put in for it was astonishing, but if they had just spent a little more time smoothing out the bumps in the control scheme and camera, it wouldn't be so fecking frustrating.
That brings up another point. Why is there even a UI at all? The only thing you need to know is your stamina, really, since your HP refills and it's totally useless (as you said) for the game to tell you what your character is holding.Evil Tim said:But they were too busy adding the obtrusive, useless UI that tells you important things like what your character is currently holding in his hands, since no human being could be expected to work that out on their own.Vuzzmop said:Shadow of the Colossus. Folklore has it the UI is there because the publisher's suits told the devs that a game with no UI wouldn't sell. Even the stamina isn't really necessary since Wander visibly has more trouble holding on as it decreases.Samurai Goomba said:That brings up another point. Why is there even a UI at all? That, it's Nimrod [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nimrod] spelled backwards. Relevant parts are that Nimrod ordered the construction of the Tower of Babel, andSamurai Goomba said:Dormin
One tradition [...] says that Shem killed him because he had led the people into the worship of Baal, then tore his body to pieces and had them sent them out as a warning to others not to indulge in the false worship. Later his mother or wife, Shemiramis, collected them, put them together and claimed he was still alive, but had become a god
Amen to that!HardRockSamurai said:[small]*opens textbook*
