Games this year you're gonna wait for a price drop.

Pretty simple, really. Is there a game coming out this year that you think looks good, and you want, but you don't wanna buy it on launch day so you'll just wait until the price drops a bit?

For me it's Lollipop Chainsaw. The game looks fun, and I love Suda 51, but I don't know if I wanna pay 60 bucks for it. Especially considering most of his games do get price drops (sometimes pretty quickly) I'll wait for it to drop a bit before I pick it up new.

I want Reckonings, but I'm gonna wait for it to drop. I have too much else to play now anyway!

Mass effect 3. Not a big mass effect fan , but i have played the first two games , so might as well finish the story . I am actually curious about the ending , most people are saying certain things about the ending which i won't spoil , but to me that sounds better than what everyone wants . Bioware got some respect from me by making a mature ending.

I'm waiting for Mass Effect 3 to become available at my local shopping place of choice for both cheap and used. There's also a good chance that I'll wait for Mario Land 3D to go down in price but New Super Mario Bros DS has been $35 since its release years ago (so I guess I'll grab that one used eventually). I'll probably grab Mario Kart 7 soon though since I've found a place to grab it at a slightly reduced price so there's that.

Nothing that i know of yet.

But then my must buy list for this year is down to 4 games since i got my copy of Asura's Wrath on friday.

Maybe the Steam sales will throw something in my face. As they tend to.

Same here. Too bad it's not on Steam though, because then I'd have some confidence that a price drop was going to happen anytime soon.

I'll probably cave though. I kind of want to play it without knowing the ending, and it seems very hard to avoid spoilers here.

pretty much all of them. There are no must haves for me on the immediate horizon save for the PC version of rocksmith. (need to rebuild my repertoire, cause im really out of practice) and Ill still likely wait on it because ive got entirely too large of a backlog right now and I want to ensure if I am going to have to buy a ubisoft product that they get as little money from me as is humanly possible.

Mass Effect 3...

I was planning on picking it up when I finished my first year of Engineering, but after the fecal matter hurricane caused by the on-disc DLC and the promise of further DLC packages, I think I'll hold off until they release 'Mass Effect 3: The Entire Complete Game Edition'.

First step is saving $1000 dollars so I have a safety net of money, then I can start spending.

Mostly going to wait for a price drop of Ass Creed 3. Then I'll buy willy nilly and all the games I missed.

Won't be getting mass effect 3 sadly as it's on origin. If I didn't need to deal with it I would buy it (I have the other 2 mass effects store brought and not needing internet).

Seems like I'm not nearly the only one to be thinking Mass Effect 3. I can't think of many other games that interest me at all, honestly. That arcadey Resident Evil, maybe...

Mass Effect 3. The first game was amazing, the second, though pretty, was okay. The third one I really just want to complete the trilogy. From what I've already learned about the plot it sounds like just a rehash of ME2's plot which was already pretty "meh". I'm not paying full price for that, especially since full price here in Australia means around $90 or more.

Mass Effect 3 - Har har, and I though I would have been original. However it has nothing at all to do with EA, Origin, DLCs or Bioware... At least it doesn't have a lot to do with Bioware. For me, it's not worth the full price. As simple as that. I'll way until it's at least 50% off. Bioware games as a whole are OK but whenever I'm playing one I can't shake the feeling of some underlying blandness. "Newer" games, at least - I first felt it when playing KOTOR.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning - I played the demo and it looked as a fun game but I'd like to wait. Maybe there would be an expansion or at least a good DLC. But generally I'm waiting for a price drop. It was nice but not good enough for £30. I can even go without it, so I certainly don't need it now.
