Hello Escapists, I'm in need of a game to help keep me occupied and awake until 11:00 pm rolls around. You see, for the past two months my bedtime has been somewhere between 5 am and 6 am and I awake at usually 4 pm. Needless to say with school and work approaching, this sleep schedule is not conducive to my life. So to realign myself I awoke today at 11 am. Though how do I stay awake? Then I thought, what better than games?

Any ideas? Certain types of music and/or food would also be appreciated.

Silent Hill, you'll be too scared to sleep. Remember, Pyramid Head expects you to fall asleep.

You need something that doesn't require much attention, but holds what you give it.

Go for civilizations or a Total War game on an easy difficulty. Conquer the world. Listen to music.

Either Penumbra or Bioshock. You can't possibly fall asleep while play either of those.

Well, Left 4 Dead is good, if you actually play it and not glitch it. Adding in some metal music and caffeine drinks helps.

For pure scares, play Silent Hill 3, and don't stop until you're done.

I don't care HOW tired you are, you can't sleep through the Chapel section. It just can't physically be done.

Play the Silent Hill series, while drinking Relentless, eating coffee beans, playing heavy metal and having the Nightmare on Elm Street films playing on a screen next to you.

That should keep you awake, if a little traumatised.

Have only played parts of Silent Hill 2, but even the beginning made me almost shit my pants.

I only have an Xbox 360, which Silent Hill is the scariest? Also, anyone know any music that is sure to keep your heart pumping and your blood racing?

Bioshock, that will certainly keep you awake. Or Left 4 Dead on anything above normal difficulty. Or you could always go with some good old RTS games. If so, listen to Metal while you play them, maybe have some coffe aswell.
