Just got some nice SteelSeries gamepads, I was wondering if someone had some recommendations of games to play co-op or shared screen with them, other than emulating SNES stuff.

If you're into beat-'em-up's and/or were/are a fan of Streets of Rage, the Streets of Rage Remake V5 was a blast to play through co-op.
It basically recreates the first three SoR titles into a single game with optional forks in the road that either bridge the games together, and/or lead to original content in an 8-stage progression; or you can just follow the straight and narrow, playing the stages in their original sequences.
The soundtrack also follows the same progression with some original content, all of which has been beautifully remixed. Seriously, just listen to this rendition of Max Man from SoR2's Shiva fight.
All three character rosters among other are playable, though some need to be unlocked. Speaking of unlocks, the extras that can be purchased with the points you earn (yes, the points finally have real value) add an incredible amount of content.

-My buddy and I recently played through this and had a blast with it. It's intended for 4 players, but we did just fine with 2.
