Stuff like Micro Machine on the mega drive(genesis) with the extra controller ports on the cartridge.

Goldeneye on N64 and passing around the keyboard for 4 player games Worms.

I'm currently playing EA MMA with my mates but can't be the only one who's noticed a lack of multiplayer(irl) games.

This is for remembering the best from the past and any suggestions for current gen offerings.

I agree, although multiplayer Duck Hunt is very fun (One person controls the duck, the other shoots it). My friends and I play Soul Caliber 2 a lot now, too...

The latest call of duties have very good 4 player death much modes.

If you're looking for something in the co-op variety try Halo Reach or Gears of War.

Smackdown Vs Raw 2011, it is very amusing when you get tired of AI Undertaker kicking the shit out of you, so you grab him around the neck and you give him an exploder suplex right onto the steel stepps that are strangely placed in the middle of the ring (your friend might have something to do with that) and start taking sweet revenge on the bots. It is an AWESOME multiplayer game, at least offline. =)

I was actually quite disappointed to find that Halo's local multi-player went from 4 to 2 players with Reach though.... disappointed indeed.
