For me it's Rage.
I mean, the game looks like a nice cross between Borderlands and Fallout and the graphics looks great, but I'm not to keen on the whole vehicle combat thing. That's one aspect of Borderlands I really hated. Another thing Rage supposedly shares with Borderlands is that although they say they have a huge, open world it's actually a bunch of medium-to-large sized maps all sectioned off from each other. But Rage does look a lot more detailed than Borderlands in that you can actually go inside buildings are there are suppose to be all these underground bunkers like Fallout.
Another is Battlefield 3 (GASP). I know I'm suppose to love with all my heart and soul it because it's not MW3 but I'm kind of getting tired of realistic shooters and while I like Bad Company 2, at times I find the game too slow. I think I'm just more into arcade style shooters. And the marketing for it is really turning me off. Yes EA, we know you don't care for your competitor CoD and you think your game is better but must you constantly go out of your way every chance you get to hammer that point home? It's childish and it's getting annoying. The only message I'm getting from that is that if I buy your game, I'm encouraging you. Plus I've always hated the vehicle sections in the Battlefield games. If I wanted to drive a tank in a game, I'd get a tank sim. I'm not saying I'm NOT going to get BF3. I most likely will. Just maybe a few months after it's released. Until then I'll probably be playing MW3. It may also be a realistic shooter but at least it's got that off-the-wall Michael Bay feel to it that keeps it from being too serious.
