I can look at all the games I have, and find a few I never finished. It's not that they're bad games, but for some reason I don't have the patience anymore for them. I mean 2 of my all-time favorites are ones I never finished, maybe I liked them for never seeing the ending?

3 off the top of my head are:

FF13 - Got near the end, but the game turned into a grindfest to keep up.

Legend of Dragoon - One of my favorites. Just theres so much story I forgot I don't wanna play it all over again.

Dungeons (Recent PC game)- Lets face it, the game is not good... Lack of control over minions, can win each level the same way, tried to be funny but didn't pull it off.

Loads from being a small child, but I'm not counting them. Most recently, Fallout: New Vegas where I got overwhelmed by enormity of all the side quests, though I intend to get back to and finish it eventually but I have a much stronger resolve to get and playthrough Portal 2, or even replay some of my older titles. But I'll do it eventually.

I have a bad habit of not finish games. So there are a lot that I have yet to finish.

That old Ecco the Dolphin game on PS2. I was bored one day, saw my brother had bought it so I played it some, and actually got quite far (I think) in the 2 days I played it. But one level stumped me for good and I never was able to complete it. Confusing as fuck, it was.

Me too. It would honestly be easier for me to list the games that I have finished and explain why than it would be for me to do so with the ones I haven't. ADD and a tendency to have more games than time to finish them does that.

Persona 3 and 4. Not for lack of trying, they're just SO LONG D: They've been in constant backburner for a while now, playing bits at a time to try and get farther (I got the PS2 late in it's life)

Though P4 is a bit more at the front of the backlog, since I really want to try and finish it before the anime comes out

Haven't finished MGS3 and Tales of the Abyss since I might as well wait for the 3DS versions at this point, plus it'll give me time to play other games.

The rest are a bunch of RPGs that I've been meaning to play.

Confession: I've never beaten FF10 or 12. And yet I still finished 13, I just... liked that game better.

Well, I never actually finished X-COM: Enemy Unknown. Any X-COM, really. Half the fun isn't getting to the end. ALL the fun is in getting to the end.

Too Human. Awesome setting, terrificaly bad control and gameplay.
FF13. Just a terrible game that should never have been produced.
James Cameron's Avatar. First and only time I have broken my "no movie game rule" and damn I regretted it.

Prey

ughh, that is the only game that actually made me physically ill. As in if I play this much longer the perspective shifts are going to make me cover my T.V. with vomit

FF tactics. If you've played it I think you know what I'm saying. Takes a huge time commitment (even for one battle)

FFXIII - No idea how far I'm into it. I'm done. Awful game.
Fallout New Vegas - I loved Fallout 3, but I just can't seem to get into this one. Maybe when I get an extended break.
Tomb Raider Underworld - Got stuck/glitch wouldn't let me progress.
Final Fantasy VII - I was young and couldn't beat Sephiroth. Can't seem to get back into it since.

Off the top of my head, that's it. There's probably more.

Dead Rising 2. In both games I tried to save as many survivors as possible, I don't know why I'm compelled to save them but I am, and escorting their dumb asses through hordes of zombies while the clock runs down on three other escort missions just got tedious.

Final Fantasy III (DS).

The last section in the game is relentless. You need to get through the Crystal Tower, the last few areas of which contain the particuarly nasty Dragons as random encounters, and defeat Xande. Then you have to go into the Dark World and kill 4 more bosses before you can take on the true final boss, the Cloud of Darkness.

ALL WITHOUT SAVING AND WITH VERY LIMITED MANA AND MANA REPLENISHING ITEMS.

Because once you defeat Xande in the tower, you are locked in the Dark World. You cannot save in the Dark World so if you suffer a party wipe, it's back outside the Crystal Tower. And you'll probably not touch the game for a month because your so pissed off at it.

The only way to finish this game seems to be to sit in the first room of the Crystal Tower and grind til the cows come home. Really can't be bothered with that. Look up ending on Youtube and I was done with it.

Name an RPG. Chances are, if I've played it, I didn't beat it. Not because I don't like RPGs. No, I do tend to like them, it's just that they're usually so long that eventually a different game comes along and I just never get around to it after starting a different game. Notable exception is Persona 4, which is partly in thanks to the Giant Bomb Endurance Run of it, where at first I wanted to keep up with where they were, and eventually just beat the game fifty episodes ahead of them when I couldn't stop playing. Favourite PS2 game of all time.

Also Team Fortress 2, I can't beat the last boss.

Final Fantasy 13: I hated the characters. I put about 12 hours into listening Snow prattle on about being a hero and Lightning just being a bore and couldn't take any more. Not to mention trying to take in the narrative from reading the journal because they couldn't be bothered to work it into the game properly. And I'm still none the wiser as to what a La'cie is.

Prototype: Last boss. You've a time limit, he had some bullshit homing-projectile attack and I only had half health and couldn't quit back to free roam to regain it. After 3 days of trying to beat him with a handicap, I gave up. It was my secret shame.
